Move hosts or domains without downtime
Website Migration Services
Moving a website to a new host or domain can be nerve-racking. A badly planned move can mean downtime, broken links, lost emails and a drop in Google rankings. Our website migration service moves your website, database, email settings and DNS carefully, with planning and testing at every step, so the switch is smooth for you and your customers.
We handle moves between hosting companies, new domains and from other platforms to WordPress.

When to migrate your website
Businesses move their websites for many reasons: faster hosting, better support, lower costs, a new brand name or a move to WordPress from an older system. Whatever the reason, the goal is the same: the website should keep working, customers should notice nothing except a faster site, and search engines should keep your rankings.
Our migration process
We start by reviewing your current setup, including the website, email and any connected services. Then we copy everything to the new host and test it on a temporary address before going live. When everything is ready, we update DNS at a quiet time and monitor the switch until it is complete everywhere.
- Review and plan
- Back up and copy
- Test on the new server
- Switch DNS and monitor
- Clean up and hand over
Protecting your rankings during a move
Changing hosts on the same domain usually has no effect on SEO when done properly. Changing domains is more sensitive. We set up page-by-page 301 redirects, update Google Search Console and check for broken links, so search engines understand that your website has moved and pass on your rankings.
Moving to WordPress
If your current website is built on an old or limited platform, moving to WordPress gives you more control, better SEO tools and easier updates. We move your content, rebuild your pages in a modern design if needed and redirect old addresses to the new ones.
Migration checklist
Every migration we do follows a detailed checklist, including:
- Full backup of files, database and email
- Lowering DNS TTL values before the move
- Testing on the new server with a temporary address
- Checking forms, checkout and payment gateways
- Reinstalling SSL certificates
- Updating Google Search Console and Analytics
- Monitoring for errors after go-live
After the move
Once the migration is complete, we keep an eye on your website and email for any issues, check search console for crawl errors and confirm that everything is running smoothly. Your old hosting is only cancelled once you are happy that the new setup is working perfectly.
Moving from another platform
If your website is on Wix, Squarespace, an old custom system or a page builder you have outgrown, we can move your content to WordPress. We map each old page to a new one, carry over text and images, set up redirects and improve the design and structure along the way, giving you a modern website that you own and control.
