Malware is not always obvious. Some infections redirect only mobile visitors or visitors from Google, so the site looks normal when you visit it directly. Others quietly add spam links that only search engines see, or use your server to send spam email. If customers mention strange behaviour, your search listings show odd titles, or your hosting company sends a warning, it is time to act.

How we clean and recover your website

We start by taking a copy of the infected site for investigation, so nothing is lost. Then we scan every file and the database, compare core files with clean versions and remove anything malicious. Hidden backdoors are removed so the attacker cannot simply return. Once the site is clean, we update everything, reset passwords and test the website thoroughly before it goes back to normal.

Getting off Google's blacklist

If Google has flagged your website, visitors may see a red warning screen and your rankings can drop. After cleaning, we submit a review through Google Search Console and check other security databases. Reviews usually take a few days, and we keep an eye on them until the warnings are lifted.

Stopping it from happening again

Most hacks happen because of outdated plugins, weak passwords or abandoned features. After recovery we recommend a maintenance or security monitoring plan with regular updates, backups and a firewall. Prevention costs far less than a second clean-up, and it protects your customers and your reputation.

Watch out for strange redirects to other websites, pop-ups you did not add, unfamiliar admin users, Google warnings in search results, sudden drops in traffic, emails bouncing or being marked as spam, and new pages or files you did not create. After the clean-up

Once your website is clean, we strengthen it to prevent another attack. This includes updating software, removing unused plugins, tightening user access, changing passwords and adding security monitoring and daily backups. We also give you a short report explaining what happened and what was done, in plain language.
