How sublimation works
Sublimation is a dye process, not a print that sits on top. Here is what happens to your order.
Design
Send us your logo, colours and names, or let our designers lay out the full garment for you.
Proof
You approve a digital proof of every panel before anything is printed.
Print & press
The design is printed on transfer paper and heat-pressed so the ink bonds into the polyester.
Sew & finish
Panels are cut and sewn, checked, folded and packed by size and name.

Frequently asked questions
What is sublimation printing?
Sublimation uses heat and pressure to turn special ink into a gas that bonds with polyester fibres or a polymer coating. The design becomes part of the fabric or item, instead of sitting on top of it like a print or transfer.
Which fabrics can be sublimated?
Sublimation works on polyester and high-polyester blends in white or light colours. It is not suited to 100% cotton or dark garments; for those we recommend screen printing, DTF or embroidery.
Will the print crack, peel or fade?
No. Because the ink is inside the fibres, sublimated prints do not crack or peel and stay bright through many washes. They also do not add weight or stiffness, so sportswear stays breathable.
Can each shirt have a different name and number?
Yes. Sublimation is ideal for team kit with individual player names and numbers, because every garment is printed from its own file.
