Our Chromadek option is a versatile and cost effective way to achieve a basic signage solution. Chromadek is an epoxy coated, galvanized steel sheet used for interior and exterior sign applications.
The Steel sheet coating is painted and baked, resulting in a flat, highly durable surface. Panels come in any sizes. Furthermore, they can also be joined together to create a larger sign.
Our chromadek signs come with a full color digital print and a protective UV Coating for added outdoor durability.
Due to it’s versatility, Chromadek is also widely used for billboards and larger signage projects that require a high visual impact from a distance.
Options include a steel tubing frame and edge trim.

Chromadek signs offer a lot of design real estate. They’re typically used as landmark signage to demarcate the location of your store, headquarters or any other physical structure. The design should be simple and easy to read and understand from a distance and within a short amount of time. This could be a short sentence of no more than 5 words, as well as your website along with your brand name and logo.
Your boards should stand out from the environment and be distinguishable from afar. Be aware of any signage rules in your area when choosing your colours – especially if this will be displayed in a public place. Holes If you intend on mounting your signage then opt for holes on each corner. Alternatively, if you are mounting your sign with an adhesive, you can opt for our ‘no holes’ option.
Do you place Vinyl on the Chromadek?
No, we print directly on the Chromadek using DIRECT LED UV, which makes your design last as long as the Chromadek board.
Is mounting included?
We don’t offer a mounting mechanism for the Chromadek boards. What we offer is the option to punch holes in each corner or no holes so you can decide how you want it mounted.
What is “bleed”?
Bleed is the area around your artwork that is trimmed off. This allows your design to look as if it was printed to the edge, even when the cutting alignment was slightly off. Your bleed should always extend to at least 3mm.
